March Madness Cheat Sheet
As the season closed, my newly made algorithm continued to improve. After including a "How Have You Played Lately?"variable, my algorithm was the best in predictive accuracy for Champ Week (shown right).
For the tourney, I have made a new tab called "TourneyTest". This tab includes the standard predicted score, as well as a predicted box score, matchup advantage, season data and rankings, power ratings for a (about) one-week, two-week, and season-long average, as well as accompanying charts. On the top right is a composite chart, two parts season ratings, one part two-week, and one part one-week, as well as a trendline that lasts until the end of the tournament.
You can compare any two teams by changing the two yellow cells to the appropriate team codenames. Good luck with your bracket!
